As you know our e-newsletters (like the one you are reading) are something we have been working on and are now ready to offer for all our clients. Cost effective and informational, they are a terrific method of communication for any business. In addition, we are still working on our site redesign and looking forward to its release. We are also busy with so many inquiries for site design. Our schedule is quickly filling up through the Spring of 2007 so if you have been considering getting work done over the Winter months, contact us now!

For those who know Scott Hammond you know that he is a master story teller. When he has a tale to share you want to be close by and be prepared to laugh or cry (and sometimes both). That is why when he contacted us to redesign his site, the task seemed monumental. It had to fit his business, his branding, and most importantly, the man himself. I think (or hope at least) we have captured all of that in his new design. The colors are rich and bold yet flow together like a story bringing his work to life. It is not the biggest site out there but has great content and is designed to grow and update easily. So check out www.aquascapebybluecreek.com and drop Scott a note to let him know what you think!

While most of our Green Industry clients are winding down their year, this is the time we get our busiest! Why? One reason is time. With cold weather moving in, the majority of our clients are spending more time in the office and catching up on months of work; and, realizing how much they want to get done for next year and figuring out what worked this year and what they want to do differently. Enter your marketing calendar. No matter what industry you are in, here are some ideas to consider:
- Develop your 2007 calendar NOW! December and January are too late. You need to figure out what you want to do, when you want to do it, and how much to budget. Good planning goes a long way!
- Publish your tentative calendar of events in your newsletter or some other client communication. You are more likely to stick to it if you have already committed to do something.
- Hopefully you have taken the time to review your Web site as well as your competitor's sites. Now it's time to implement the changes you need to make your site as effective as possible. And don't forget that you need to keep it updated throughout the year!!!
